To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Ralph Vaughan Williams our April event was “O Taste and See” given by Tom Corfield (Assistant Organist, Derby Cathedral) and Edmund Stow (Organist and Choirmaster, All Saints, Sudbury), with the Derby Cathedral Voluntary Choir. Tom Corfield spoke on Ralph Vaughan Williams’ church music whilst Edmund Stow spoke on his hymns and hymnbook editing. The event was held at St George’s, Ticknall (just south of Derby and close to the Calke Abbey estate ).
